Product Designer - Unified Systems

The role involves contributing to the design, development, maintenance, and scaling of design system components, foundations, and patterns, focusing on accessibility, usability, and consistency. Responsibilities also include creating documentation, partnering with engineers for high-quality implementation, and supporting teams using the system.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and scaling of design system components
- Create and improve documentation, usage guidelines, and examples
- Partner with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of components and patterns
- Support teams using the system
- Identify inconsistencies, outdated patterns, or accessibility gaps and propose improvements
- Advocate for and apply accessibility best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve real product use cases
- Contribute to design system rituals and improve tools, processes, and workflows
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in design systems, product design, or related roles
- High Figma proficiency
- Familiarity with design system tooling beyond Figma
- Working understanding of front-end technologies
- Solid grasp of accessibility standards and usability principles
- Systems thinking with strong attention to detail
