Mechanical Design Engineering Manager

The role involves coordinating and developing a team of approximately seven specialists, handling all aspects of team management including motivation, feedback, recruitment, and goal setting. Key technical tasks include acting as the contact person for mechanical design needs, issuing opinions on design aspects like manufacturability, and implementing new production technologies while overseeing the mechanical tool shop.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of team consisting of around 7 specialists
• Team management and development; including motivation, feedback, salary changes, recruitment, promotions
• Conducting 1:1 with team members, organizing and moderating team meetings
• Determining and monitoring the team goals

Requirements

• Experience on similar position ( Team Leader, Line Manager )
• Ideally in NPI/close to R&D and/or Production Engineering
• Leadership and communication skills that help manage the team and maintain peer-to-peer communication
• Higher education (technical fields preferred)
• Fluent in English (daily communication)
