The Technical Leader will provide technical direction and ownership for projects involving changes, modifications, and uprates of accessory equipment for heavy-duty gas turbines, acting as the single point of contact for design reviews and technical sign-off. Responsibilities also include guiding and mentoring other engineers, developing engineering solutions for fluid and mechanical systems, and leading business initiatives for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor other accessories engineers in the team when executing CM&U projects
- Identify, develop, evaluate, and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long-range engineering solutions
- Perform and guide others to perform engineering calculations and analyses to size system components
- Provide technical leadership and act as the single point of contact for customer issue resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Structural, or related engineering field from an accredited university or college
- 8+ years of experience in Design Engineering/Services Accessories
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical stress, structural design, and flow analysis
