Sr Director, Mechanical Design Engineering, Tooling

This role involves leading and developing a high-performing team of tooling engineers to deliver solutions for safe, efficient, and repeatable production, while defining and executing the long-term tooling strategy across design, manufacturing, and operations. The director will also oversee the design, fabrication, and commissioning of complex tooling systems and manage the project portfolio to ensure readiness for production and development programs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in tooling design, manufacturing engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of people leadership experience
• Expertise with CAD and PLM systems
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale tooling initiatives for complex hardware
