
Graphic Designer / Digital Key-Op

The primary focus of this role is pre-press and file preparation, which involves ensuring customer files are accurate for digital and wide-format printing, setting up imposition, and operating RIP software. Secondary duties include providing graphic design support for minor edits and handling basic customer service tasks like order intake and answering inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer-supplied files for digital and wide-format printing
- Check artwork for resolution, sizing, bleed, and color accuracy
- Set up imposition, nesting, and scaling for efficient production
- Create and edit cut paths for contour cutting
- Preflight files and troubleshoot print issues before output
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Strong understanding of print file setup and pre-press workflows
- Knowledge of bleed, trim, safe area, and color modes
- High attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable handling phones and customer communication
