Web Designer - UI/UX

The Web Designer – UI/UX will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites and portals, applying UI/UX best practices to create engaging user experiences. This role also involves supporting the development of print and digital collateral to align with product marketing and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing and intuitive websites and portals
- Apply best practices in UI/UX to create engaging and efficient user experiences
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives
- Participate in regular team meetings and design reviews
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards
- Design, develop, and update print/digital collateral consistent with company brand identity and messaging
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
- One plus year of proven experience in web design with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills
- Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent
- Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not essential
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of SEO principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility issues
