UX Designer internship - UX Design Team (Ra'anana, Israel)

The intern will collaborate on solving real user problems and designing thoughtful solutions for products like Red Hat Developer Hub and Red Hat Desktop, contributing to all phases of the development cycle. Responsibilities include identifying problems, gauging usability, creating design artifacts like wireframes and prototypes, and partnering with developers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to an interdisciplinary team that includes other user experience designers, developers, product and marketing managers, and other stakeholders through all phases of the development cycle
• Identify the right problems to solve, gauge the usability of products, and make sound recommendations for improvements
• Clearly understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate design intent effectively
• Partner with UI developers to ensure technical success

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in interaction design, visual design, human-computer interaction, human factors, computer science, or a closely related area
• Some experience with the user interface design process and methodologies like Design Thinking
• User experience work samples linked in resume or presented in a portfolio
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program in Israel during the whole duration of the internship and eligible to begin a full-time role in 2027 or 2028
• Must be available for the internship from May 2026 till April 2027
