The role involves managing the entire User Experience process from initial research to final product implementation, balancing technical requirements with user needs in collaboration with various departments. Responsibilities include designing graphical user interfaces and control panels for professional and consumer products, creating prototypes, and maintaining the icon/HMI component library for portfolio consistency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces and user experiences for products
- Develop and maintain icon and HMI component libraries to ensure a uniform appearance across the product portfolio
- Identify new design trends and technologies in the UI/UX area and integrate them proactively into work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Development, and other departments
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts
Requirements
- Completed degree in Communications, Interface, Media Design, or similar qualification
- Several years of experience in User Interface Design, ideally in an industrial environment
- Excellent knowledge of design and prototyping software, especially Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Experience in creating interactive prototypes, both digital and with haptic component connection
- Good German and English language skills in word and writing
- Outstanding communication and team skills
