Senior UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer will lead discovery and research, owning the research function through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to validate design decisions before shipping solutions. They will also be responsible for UX strategy, mapping complex user journeys and overhauling the legacy SaaS interface into a cohesive platform aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Discovery & Research, conducting user interviews, running surveys, and analyzing usage data
• Establish a rigorous cadence of usability testing, validating designs with prototypes and real users
• Use quantitative data and qualitative insights to substantiate design decisions to stakeholders
• Map complex user journeys and information architecture, solving for the entire workflow
• Audit and refactor the legacy SaaS interface, turning the feature set into a cohesive, intuitive platform

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or complex web applications
• UX experience, specifically in research, sketches, failures, and iterations
• Research mastery, with the ability to pick up the phone and talk to customers
• Strategic thinking, with the ability to articulate the business value of design decisions
• Mastery of Figma (prototyping, auto-layout)
• EQ and mentorship, with the ability to thoughtfully navigate legacy systems and relationships
