Senior Product Designer

The core mission of this role is to design, prototype, and launch groundbreaking AI-powered features and products, focusing on creating tools that lower the barrier to entry for geospatial analysis. This involves leading the end-to-end design process for Geospatial AI assistant features, specifically designing intuitive Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for Geospatial AI interfaces
- Design intuitive and powerful Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces
- Define patterns for enabling verification of LLM outputs
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML models into Planetās platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility and design excellence
- Champion a vision for how AI can fundamentally change how users interact with satellite imagery
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience designing complex digital products
- Bachelorās degree in design or an equivalent field
- Expertise in designing for technical, SaaS, or B2B products, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Experience working with Figma/Adobe and design systems
- A design portfolio demonstrating examples of professional projects
