The Senior Product Designer will lead the design for the kids investment account product, owning the end-to-end user experience from research and prototyping through final design hand-off. This involves collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to enhance product engagement and retention while advocating for the customer through testing and interviews.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design for kids investment account product
  • Own the end-to-end user experience from research and prototyping to final design hand-off
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to improve product engagement and retention
  • Be an advocate for the customer, getting to know users through user testing and interviews
  • Identify problems and opportunities, and develop hypotheses to test, learn, and iterate

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a key member of a design team
  • Well-honed user-centered design skills
  • Fluency in Figma
  • Strong understanding of usability, interaction design, visual design, front-end development, and mobile-first UX/UI
  • Ability to understand and articulate the strategic impact of design vision to stakeholders
  • Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality
