Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for major product workstreams, ensuring solutions drive core business metrics like conversion and operational efficiency. This role involves proactively identifying friction points and architecting cohesive experiences that leverage AI and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for major product workstreams
- Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to ensure design solutions drive core business metrics
- Identify friction in current products and propose data-backed improvements
- Seek out feedback and adapt based on input
- Integrate AI tools into daily workflow to accelerate exploration and increase output quality
- Design interfaces that effectively surface AI-driven insights to users
- Contribute to the Kiavi Design System and refine patterns
- Work closely with engineers to ensure design intent is preserved in code
- Plan and execute user research, synthesizing qualitative feedback and quantitative data into clear 'Why' statements
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience designing digital products at scale
- Portfolio that shows deep systemic thinking, attention to detail, and a track record of shipping products that solved real business problems
- Expert proficiency in Figma
- Deep familiarity with auto-layout, components, and library management
- AI Proficiency: early adopter of LLMs or generative tools
- Technical Knowledge: understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS logic) and how design systems bridge the gap to engineering
