The role involves leading discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, and business objectives, and planning/facilitating workshops to drive alignment among stakeholders. Responsibilities also include translating ambiguous problems into clear statements, communicating design intent, and synthesizing findings into actionable artifacts like journey maps and wireframes.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, requirements, and business objectives
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to drive alignment and clarity
- Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clearly defined problem statements and priorities
- Communicate design intent, requirements, and constraints effectively to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences
- Present findings, recommendations, and design concepts to stakeholders in a clear, inclusive manner
Requirements
- Proven experience leading discovery and requirements gathering activities
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts using tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Sketch)
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree
