
Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

The Senior Product Designer will lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, customer-focused solutions aligned with business objectives. This role also involves providing expert advice on design best practices and guiding development teams on design system compliance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers, developers, service designers, and subject matter experts to co-design intuitive, customer-focused solutions
- Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products and services, including research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and high-fidelity UI design
- Develop viable and sustainable solutions within technical constraints and brand and design system guidelines
- Stay up to date with the best user research practices, including User Interaction (UI), accessibility guidelines, and visual design practices
- Provide expert, specialist advice to product teams, departments, and stakeholders on best practice innovations and trends in human-centred design (HCD), content, accessibility, usability, and user research practices
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in design, interaction design, information technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to design intuitive and accessible web or mobile interfaces
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and collaborative platforms like Miro or Confluence
- Solid knowledge of Human-Centred Design (HCD) or Design Thinking methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and a strong understanding of inclusive design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
