Senior UX Designer - AI - IC

The Senior UX Designer will own the end-to-end UX for Generative AI chat and Ask AI experiences, focusing on interaction models, UI patterns, and agent behaviors while translating conversation strategies into effective UX patterns. Key tasks include designing trust mechanisms, modeling states and contingencies for AI interactions, and rapidly prototyping and validating designs through testing and iteration.
Responsibilities
- Design Generative AI chat and Ask AI experiences from an interaction and UX systems perspective
- Own the surrounding UI and experience layer for chat
- Define agent behaviors, capabilities, and boundaries in the UX
- Translate conversation strategies into scalable UX patterns
Requirements
- 6+ years in UX/Product Design with shipped work in complex or emerging interaction models
- 2+ years of experience working in AI-assisted or assistant-like experiences
- Experience collaborating closely with Conversational Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers in agile environments
- Proficiency with Figma for fast prototyping and component-based design
