Associate Director, Senior UX Designer (14 Month FTC)

The Senior UX Designer will lead UX strategy and design approaches for complex digital initiatives, creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity solutions across the global digital ecosystem. They will champion accessibility, drive contributions to the Design System, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners like marketing, product, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX strategy and define design approaches for complex digital initiatives
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity solutions that elevate digital experiences
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring adherence to WCAG standards and best practices
- Drive contributions to the JHI Design System including patterns, components, and usage guidance
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, engineering, content, and brand partners
- Translate business goals, analytics insights, and user needs into clear UX recommendations
- Guide stakeholders toward user-centered decisions through storytelling and structured rationale
- Participate in and support all phases of the UX lifecycle
- Maintain strong quality standardsāmobile-first design, consistency, detail, and craft
- Stay current with UX methodologies, tools, trends, and emerging best practices
Requirements
- Prior UX design experience creating digital experiences
- Expertise in Figma and modern prototyping and research tools
- Deep knowledge of UX strategy, interaction design, responsive design, and accessibility
- Strong communicator able to simplify complexity and influence at all levels
- Experience working with or contributing to a design system
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
