The Junior Product Designer will create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma while assisting with user research activities like interviews and testing. They will also collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into design solutions for the Vcheck platform.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma under the guidance of senior designers
- Assist in user research activities, including conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Design user interfaces and experiences for new features across the Vcheck platform
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our design system, creating reusable components and design patterns
Requirements
- 0-2 years of product design experience through internships, freelance projects, or full-time roles
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills and design thinking process
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with modern design tools
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
