Product Designer - Senior UX/UI Designer

The Senior Product Designer is responsible for shaping and owning product experiences across the platform, translating complex operational workflows and data-heavy use cases into clear, usable, and scalable solutions. Key duties include leading end-to-end UX/UI for core modules, driving product discovery, and ensuring AI-supported features communicate confidence and usability.
Responsibilities
- Own the design for complex, data-heavy product areas
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI for core modules across the NextPort platform
- Create scalable interaction models, IA, and workflows for advanced operational use cases
- Shape intuitive experiences for AI-driven recommendations, predictive analytics, and real-time monitoring
- Drive product discovery and user understanding
- Work closely with Product Management to frame problems, define user needs, and participate in customer interviews and workflow observations
- Translate insights from port operators, planners, and analysts into actionable design decisions
- Build prototypesâfrom low-fi flows to advanced hi-fi interactive modelsâfor testing, validation, and stakeholder alignment
- Validate assumptions using qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Collaborate deeply with Engineering to provide clear specs and guide implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science with emphasis on HCI, User Experience Design, or similar
- 7+ years of professional experience in UX/UI, product design, or creative direction
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and shipped digital products
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven experience building or evolving design systems
- Ability to translate product strategy into intuitive and elegant user experiences
