The role involves driving the interaction framework for embodied AI across various form factors, defining design patterns for real-time AI, and executing a multimodal design strategy integrating voice, vision, and gesture. Responsibilities also include defining the behavioral UI, partnering cross-functionally to influence model behavior, and bridging raw research into production-ready product visions.

- Drive the Interaction Framework for Embodied AI: Establish and evolve the design patterns for real-time AI
- Execute Multimodal Design Strategy: Lead the development of scalable interaction systems that integrate voice, vision, and gesture
- Define Behavioral UI: Beyond visual components, define the 'personality' and pacing of AI interactions
Requirements
- Advanced Craft & Systems Thinking: 8-10+ years of experience in product design or creative direction
- AI/ML Fluency: Demonstrated experience designing for non-deterministic systems
- Strategic Autonomy: Proven track record of navigating extreme ambiguity and driving projects from concept to execution with minimal guidance
Benefits
- Compensation: $201,000/year to $278,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
