The designer will own the overall design quality across the product, ensuring consistency and fixing inconsistencies before shipping. They will collaborate directly with engineers to design, prototype, and ship features while exploring the future look and feel of AI-powered clinical software.
Responsibilities
- Own design quality across the product
- Design, prototype, and ship features alongside engineers
- Explore what AI-powered clinical software should look and feel like
- Contribute to a design system built as a floor, not a ceiling
- Push CSS fixes, build prototypes, and open PRs for polish
Requirements
- A portfolio where craft is visible
- Comfortable designing in Figma and shipping in code
- Preferences about easing curves, opinions on optical vs mathematical alignment
- Strong opinions about design, loosely held
- Ability to explain what separates considered software from lazy software at a component level
