Senior UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for tactically and strategically enhancing the usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction across the company's logistics-focused digital ecosystem by translating business needs into design deliverables. This role involves shipping user experiences, conducting self-led research to understand user needs, analyzing metrics, and contributing to a positive design culture.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems, product visions, and new concepts into design deliverables that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Design and ship deliverables ranging from low-to-high fidelity, including sketches, wireframes, user flows, journeys, annotated mockups, and clickable prototypes
• Maximize user empathy through research findings to effectively execute product roadmaps
• Identify self-led research opportunities to better understand user pain points, wants, and needs, as well as usability issues
• Analyze and interpret analytics data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of design solutions
• Maintain a user-centric and strategic mindset when working cross-collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Business partners
• Contribute meaningfully to a design culture that enhances consistency, innovation, camaraderie, and sparks joy for users
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented design environment

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Behavioral Sciences, or Information Design
• 6+ years of applicable experience in UX/UI/Product design
• Proven knowledge of design processes, best practices, research methodologies, and principles
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines, scope, and teams
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated UI and visual design skills, and user-centered design principles with an understanding of accessibility and ADA guidelines
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• An accessible portfolio demonstrating process, digital experience design, and visual skills
