
Senior UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs and translating them into reusable UI patterns across digital products, using data, research, and empathy to understand customer problems. This role involves taking concepts from initial sketches through to scalable, delightful interactions ready for production while collaborating closely with researchers, designers, content specialists, and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Create visually stunning designs and turn them into UI patterns that can be reused throughout our digital products and experiences
- Use data, research, insight, and empathy to understand customer problems
- Take concepts from whiteboard sketches and post-it notes and interpret them into scalable, delightful interactions all the way through to production
- Work with researchers, other designers, content folk and engineers to simplify interactions and bring complex journeys to life
- Contribute to our design systems and you'll be excited about contributing to ours
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience in similar roles with demonstrated hands-on experience in User Experience or Interactive Experience Design
- Good understanding of Web Accessibility Guidelines
- Strong working knowledge of design workflow utilising Figma & Sketch
- Ideally, you'll have experience gained in large, complex organisations leading and delivering projects
- A portfolio or samples and/or case studies of work, demonstrating relevant experience and your process
- In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines and principles
- Strong stakeholder management skills to guide individuals to a fast and effective outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
