UX Designers implement user research and usability testing to inform strategic and tactical decisions, undertaking tasks like persona development, wireframing, and prototyping across the User Centred Design lifecycle. They translate research insights into engaging visual and interactive concepts while communicating findings clearly to teams and stakeholders to champion user-centred practices.
Responsibilities
- Implement user research and usability testing to inform decisions
- Undertake tasks such as persona development, needs analysis, site mapping, wireframing, and prototyping
- Plan and execute research to understand user types, behaviors, and needs
- Translate research and insights into visual and interactive concepts
- Help teams and clients consume and act on research insights to improve policy, service design, and digital product outcomes
Requirements
- Strong foundations in UX and UI design, research, data, and design thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with user research and usability testing
- Ability to communicate research findings and design rationale clearly to teams and stakeholders
