Staff Product Designer

The role involves partnering with leadership to define the roadmap for developer content consumption, setting design standards for information architecture, and designing interaction models for authentication documentation discovery. Key tasks include creating intuitive navigation for API explorers and mapping content delivery systems for progressive disclosure throughout the developer journey.
Responsibilities
- Content experience strategy, including partnering with Engineering and Product leadership to define the roadmap for technical documentation
- Auth0 Content Integration UX, including designing the structural framework and interaction models for authentication documentation
- API Explorer & Library Interfaces, including creating intuitive navigation systems, search paradigms, and interactive UI patterns
- Onboarding Content Architecture, including mapping content delivery systems and progressive disclosure patterns
- Cross-Functional Bridge, including acting as the connector between content teams, support engineering, and product
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in Product Design, with a significant portion dedicated to B2B Enterprise, SaaS, or Complex Tools
- Technical fluency, including understanding of REST/GraphQL concepts, JSON structures, and the developer's mental model
- Systemic thinking and ability to simplify complex, high-data environments
- Leadership and alignment, including experience mentoring senior designers and influencing product strategy at the executive level
- WCAG compliance and advanced knowledge of accessibility standards for high-density data and complex UI
- AI literacy and practical experience or experimentation done designing for AI/ML features
- Strategic influence and ability to advocate for user needs and navigate organizational friction to improve product quality
- Portfolio showcasing examples of 'heavy lifting'—projects involving complex workflows, data density, or technical platforms
