
Assistant Print & Graphic Designer Kidswear

Key accountabilities involve sourcing images, compiling Design Product Strategy boards based on trends, and collaborating with designers to meet critical path deadlines. The role also requires creating high-quality CADs using Photoshop and Illustrator for range reviews and Tech Packs.
Responsibilities
- Use product knowledge to source images, compile and layout Design Product Strategy (DPS) boards
- Research current and emerging trends, sharing ideas with the Design team
- Collaborate with the Designers to meet critical path deadlines and deliver the right designs
- Support the Designer on producing a high standard of Tech pack and hit rate on Direct
- Create CAD’s using photoshop / illustrator to show true representation of product for range reviews and PLM tech packs
Requirements
- Expert in the field of design with design experience within the Retail industry
- 3D Experience – Clo software
- Experience in Print, Graphics and embroidery
- Knowledge of trend interpretation, current competitive marketplace, and product design
- Experience in briefing and specifying direct design sourced product
- High level of proficiency in Design IT applications to optimise the quality of design work
