Staff Product Designer

This role focuses on building and accelerating Trust & Safety systems, requiring the designer to operate as a design leader with strong engineering depth to support end-to-end experience strategy and drive high-fidelity, implementation-quality design and front-end code. Responsibilities include partnering with Product Designers, building frontend components, evolving design systems, and leading complex, cross-team design initiatives related to Trust experiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with Product Designers to co-create interaction models and systems
- Build and maintain frontend components and patterns that support Trust & Safety experiences
- Develop interactive, production-ready prototypes to explore complex flows, edge cases, and high-risk user moments
- Contribute to and evolve shared design systems and UI frameworks
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system or shared UI library
- Background in modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
