Team Manager, UX Designer

The Team Manager will guide and grow a team of UX designers, ensuring UX work is high quality, well-prioritized, and aligned with product strategy across multiple workstreams. This involves partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to translate vision into execution and removing obstacles for the design team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of UX designers through coaching, feedback, and career guidance
- Own UX delivery across a product area, ensuring quality, consistency, and predictability
- Prioritize and sequence work to balance short-term execution and long-term experience goals
- Partner closely with product and engineering to align roadmaps, priorities, and success metrics
- Run design planning, critique, and review rituals that support clarity and momentum
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of professional experience in UX design, with 3+ years leading designers
- Experience designing products that leverage agentic AI and designing with AI prototyping tools
- Strong foundation in end-to-end UX design across complex, multi-surface products
- Proven experience managing priorities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Confidence making decisions under ambiguity and communicating trade-offs clearly
- Collaborative leadership style that builds trust across product, engineering, and design
