This role involves designing and leading complex mixed-methods research initiatives to understand user needs, synthesizing insights into compelling narratives for executive audiences, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decision-making. The specialist will also mentor junior researchers and build systems to democratize research insights and improve operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead complex mixed-methods studies and quick, scrappy evaluative research
- Partner with cross-functional teams to frame research questions and facilitate collaborative sessions
- Mentor junior and mid-level researchers and establish research standards and frameworks
- Build systems to democratize research insights and continuously improve research operations
Requirements
- 7-10 years of user research experience
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Strong strategic thinking ability to identify the right research questions and connect research to business objectives
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presence with confidence presenting to senior leadership
- Track record of effective cross-functional partnership with design, product, and engineering leaders
