Hybrid $130,000 - $155,000 Full-time Senior

The role involves owning the end-to-end visual design quality for the design system, defining foundational elements like tokens and component specifications, and establishing the visual language for cohesion across products. This person will also serve as a design leader, facilitating critiques, mentoring designers, and influencing cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the visual design language for the unified design system
  • Design comprehensive, production-ready component libraries in Figma
  • Lead the visual design direction for major product redesigns
  • Work closely with Creative Technologists to translate visual designs into code
  • Lead design critiques for the team, mentor other designers, and build influential relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of visual design experience
  • Exceptional visual craft with systems thinking, collaborative leadership, and ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics
  • Deep, expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced component architecture, library management, and design token systems
  • Strong skills in motion design for product interfaces, with proficiency in After Effects, and/or Framer, and/or Principle (or similar tools)
  • Proven experience designing, building, or contributing to design systems at scale
