Product Designer, Video Apps

The Product Designer will collaborate across design, engineering, marketing, and QA teams from brainstorming through implementation to distill complex challenges into clean, understandable design solutions. This role is key in determining the future design direction of Apple's Video applications, aiming to create intuitive and useful products for billions of users.
Responsibilities
- Work with members of the Video Applications design team, as well as engineering, marketing, and QA groups
- Quickly grasp and distill highly sophisticated challenges and technical solutions into clean, understandable design solutions
- Understand the needs and workflows of video creators of all types
- Be an effective diplomat with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Deep experience designing mobile and desktop applications
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Demonstrable fluency with Sketch, Photoshop, or other design tools
- Strong familiarity with the tools and workflows of video creators
