Staff Product Designer

The role involves leading multiple product areas to define the future of data analytics and owning product areas from design concept through release. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to seek end-user feedback and advance solutions for product adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple areas of the product and help define the future of data analytics
- Work with a talented team of designers on a shared mission to make data analytics highly usable and easily accessible to non-technical users
- Design simple and elegant experiences that delight business users as they explore data and generate insights
- Own areas of the product from design concept to their release
- Work with the PM, research, customer success, and support teams to actively seek end-user product feedback and collaboratively advance solutions to improve product adoption and utilization
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in interaction design
- Experience driving vision and future thinking while dealing with day-to-day gradual improvements
- Experience leading multiple areas and presenting new directions to leadership
- Demonstrably strong interaction design fundamentals with a flair for visual appeal
- Proven track record of designing commercially successful, world-class software
- Capable of working autonomously, leading complex design projects, and delivering high-quality design solutions
- Capable of rapid iteration, feedback cycles, and experimentation
- Seeks understanding of customer needs and the ability to assess and incorporate their feedback
- Demonstrable ability to think about entire systems, with the vision to design the big picture, and the tactical ability to break it down so that engineering can succeed in building it incrementally
- Exceptional facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
