Junior UX Designer

The Junior UX Designer will assist in designing end-to-end user experiences across Ozow's products by translating user needs and requirements into intuitive UX solutions, including creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. Responsibilities also involve participating in user research, analyzing feedback, collaborating with product and development teams, and contributing to the design system.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of end-to-end user experiences across Ozowâs products and platforms
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive UX solutions
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and basic UI designs
- Participate in user research activities, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews
- Analyse user behaviour and feedback to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively
- Contribute to & assist in maintaining Ozowâs design system
- Adhere to UX design principles & accessibility standards
- Iterate on designs based on user insights, data, and stakeholder feedback
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
- A portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, problem-solving, and design process (research â ideation â execution)
- Experience designing digital products for web and/or mobile
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Basic understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment
