Associate User Experience (UX) Designer

The selected individual will develop, maintain, and improve ecommerce applications for Boeing Global Services (BGS) by executing user-centered design activities from discovery to delivery. Responsibilities include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, diagnosing usability issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.
Responsibilities
- Work on development and support of Boeing Global Service (BGS) ecommerce applications
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and support teams
- Partner with project teams to execute user-centered design activities across product lifecycle
- Conduct user research activities and define user requirements, user flows, and usability goals
- Translate user needs and business requirements into wireframes, user flows, design alternatives and convey designs by building prototypes and style guides
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in UX design with an emphasis in ecommerce
- Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology
- Understanding of user-centered design (wireframes, visual design specifications, prototypes, style guides)
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and other UI technologies
- Experience in using user behavior analytics data to improve user experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision
