Associate User Experience (UX) Designer

The selected individual will develop, maintain, and improve ecommerce applications for Boeing Global Services (BGS) by executing user-centered design activities from discovery to delivery, including conducting user research and usability tests. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams globally to translate user needs into designs, manage technical debt, and provide mentorship to junior resources.
Responsibilities
- Work on development and support of Boeing Global Service (BGS) ecommerce applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and support teams
- Conduct user research, define user requirements, and create wireframes, prototypes, and style guides
- Conduct usability tests, diagnose and prioritize usability issues, and refine designs
- Create and maintain UX documentation, including design specifications and interaction guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in UX design with an emphasis on ecommerce
- Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology
- Understanding of user-centered design, wireframes, visual design specifications, prototypes, and style guides
- Experience with HTML/CSS and other UI technologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision
