The Senior Product Designer will lead continuous discovery to identify problems and opportunities using data and research, while creating and evolving journeys, flows, and interfaces with a focus on clarity and visual refinement. They will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure viable, desirable, and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the continuous discovery process to identify problems and discover opportunities based on data and research
- Create and evolve journeys, flows, and interfaces, focusing on clarity, consistency, and high visual refinement
- Act closely and collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Data, and other business areas to ensure that solutions are viable, desirable, and sustainable
- Strengthen a culture of user-centered design, encouraging practices such as experimentation, hypothesis validation, and short learning cycles
- Contribute to the evolution of the Cavilha Design System, focusing on accessibility and scalability
- Mentor junior designers, promoting a culture of exchange, learning, and technical excellence
- Maintain active participation in ceremonies and alignments, contributing to team maturity and customer-centric business decisions
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Product Designer, with proven experience in projects that demonstrate process and decision-making
- Experience in planning and conducting discovery processes, collaboration rituals, and co-creation
- Domain expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests
- Ability to connect design decisions to product objectives and business metrics
- Experience applying best practices in the discipline, such as Interaction Design, Visual Design, Information Architecture, and Prototyping
- Knowledge of componentization for evolution and maintenance of the Design System
- Good communication and argumentation skills with different audiences, whether technical, strategic, or executive
- Ability to support the technical team in refining solutions and monitoring the impact of implemented solutions
- Organization to document learnings, decisions, and evidence in a clear and accessible way
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Miro, Useberry, Hotjar, and/or similar
