The Conversational UX Designer will lay the foundation for end-to-end user experiences by combining UX design, dialogue structuring, and advanced prompt crafting to support intelligent interactions in chat and voice. Key tasks include designing conversational flows, defining tone and personality, creating prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the final user experience.
Responsibilities
- Bringing new ideas around AI assistant best practices and cross-industry insights towards project teams
- Designing conversational flows and dialogue structures
- Defining tone, voice, and assistant personality that works across channels and interaction styles
- Translating strategy and insights into well-considered user-centered flows
- Substantiating design choices with annotations and creating simple prototypes
- Presenting work to clients and stakeholders and handling input and feedback
- Working back-to-back with Product Managers, AI engineers, and developers to shape the final user experience
- Conducting testing and iterative improvement of conversations and prompts
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as UX and/or Conversational designer at an agency or renowned brand
- Experience with designing chatbot or voicebot solutions
- Excellent writing and communication skills, especially for task-oriented and natural-sounding dialogues
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience and passion
- Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams
- Working proficiency in English and German
- Experience with Figma and collaborative tools
- Availability to start working in Germany
