The designer will own the end-to-end design process, transforming complex requirements into intuitive experiences across Web platforms, while also defining product communication through crafting narrative and microcopy. Key duties include collaborating with Product Teams, defining visual/UX design language for multiple platforms, and executing concept creation via wireframes and prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Teams and Product Managers on bringing the user experience to life, from conception to execution
- Distill complex requirements to create simplified user experiences in a cross-platform environment
- Solve product problems with a focus on the best user experience while balancing company and project timelines and ease of implementation
- Define and refine visual and UX design language for Android, iOS, desktop, and web applications
- Prioritize usability and user experience by continuously evaluating designs through user feedback, heuristics, and usability best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Diploma or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Digital Web/Software Design, or related academic stream with up to 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong command of the English language with the ability to simplify complex jargon into intuitive microcopy
- A strong portfolio of completed projects which demonstrate strategic, creative, and user-centered design solutions to complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to show how copy choices and content strategy impact user behavior and task completion
- UX knowledge and experience conducting user research, creating flows, designing wireframes and interactive prototypes using industry software such as Figma and Adobe Suites
