Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will own and deliver end-to-end design projects for consumer products to enhance clarity and user agency in decentralized finance and web3, while tackling complex challenges by inventing new mental models and designing cutting-edge interactions.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end design projects for new and improved consumer products that increase clarity and user agency in decentralized finance and web3
- Tackle complex challenges in emerging technology by inventing new mental models and designing cutting-edge interactions with minimal oversight
- Use a human-centered approach that incorporates qualitative and quantitative data to create conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and research partners to influence product strategy and roadmap
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a unified design system that increases the velocity and consistency of the frontend engineering team
- Mentor junior designers and help define best practices through feedback, documentation, and team crit
- Contribute to the broader design culture through writing, presentations, and external community engagement
Requirements
- 5 years of product design experience, including research, prototyping, and implementation of user-facing applications
- Experience in FinTech or adjacent industries through relevant design work
- Demonstrated experience working with component libraries or design systems
- A strong desire to design within the context of web3/blockchain/decentralized finance
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Framer, or equivalent
- Excellent visual design and interaction design skills, with a strong portfolio that reflects independent project ownership and high-quality execution
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams
