Design Engineering Associate - ECAD

The Design Engineering Associate will lead PCB layout activities for flight control electronics and create detailed multi-layer board layouts. They will also develop and maintain ECAD libraries and support EMC/EMI mitigation through layout best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead PCB/PWB layout activities for flight control electronics, motor controllers, and avionics modules used in commercial aviation
- Create detailed multi-layer board layouts from schematics and system requirements
- Develop and maintain ECAD libraries and enforce library standards and lifecycle processes
- Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal considerations in layout
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and assembly rules
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on PCB/PWB layout experience in an engineering environment
- Proficiency with ECAD tools such as Mentor Xpedition/Expedition, Cadence Allegro, Zuken CR-8000/CADSTAR, or equivalent
