Design Engineering Intern

The intern will provide engineering support during product design, development, and commercialization for internal and consulting projects, working across markets like medical devices and consumer appliances. Day-to-day activities include creating 2D engineering drawings, developing conceptual designs using 3D CAD software, and applying fundamental engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D engineering drawings to communicate designs to suppliers and customers
- Develop conceptual designs utilizing 3D CAD software (preferably Creo2)
- Apply fundamental engineering theory and design principles
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills, and work with complex and under-defined problems
- Communicate ideas through presentations, rough sketches, and simple physical models
- Work with colleagues and clients with professionalism
Requirements
- Working toward or completed: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
- Junior or Senior-level students (completed at least two years towards the stated degree)
