Systems Design Engineering Director

The Systems Design Engineering Director will set the technical vision and define system requirements for market segments. They will lead a team of senior architects and coordinate with various business and product managers.
Responsibilities
- Sets the technical vision, timeframe, and lifecycle for system and solution capabilities in their market
- Define system and solution technical requirements
- Act as the technical counterpart to the business manager
- Defines technical requirements for each system release
- Evaluates the Statement of Work (SOW) for the system and products to ensure it aligns to system requirements
- Anticipates market requirement trends through customer & market engagement
- Understands user satisfaction and health of released systems and solutions
- Provide the highest level system consulting for customer opportunities
- Advise business and R&D on technical tradeoff decisions
Requirements
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in the Test and Measurement or related industries
- Deep technical knowledge of a particular Semiconductor and Electronics test market segment or application
- Broad experience across Mixed-Signal, RF, Validation, Characterization and Production test appreciated
- Proven ability to manage and develop senior technical talent
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor and electronics production and validation test markets
- Experience in working with dynamic cultures & countries, as part of a global organization
- Excellent verbal and written English skills required
