The Lead Product Designer will be responsible for leading design efforts that measurably improve people's lives within the Fetch app, covering user experience design, creative direction, and production. This role involves guiding team culture through mentorship and thought leadership while infusing user-centered practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts that measurably improve peopleâs lives
- Guide our teamâs culture through mentorship and thought leadership
- Infuse user-centered practices across the organization
- Develop strong working relationships within your team and outside of your team
- Lead design critiques of your work with cross-functional stakeholders and peers
- Collaborate with other design leads on Design Ops initiatives
- Influence & make decisions within your team
- Explore the unknownsâwhat opportunities are untouched or undiscovered?
- Launch features into production with iterations on the work in motion
- Mentor fellow team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, native mobile app design experience required
- Experience building growth- and retention-focused products
- Experience with Figma, Miro, and Protopie
- Experience with animation (ideally Rive)
- Technical acumen and experience designing for complex problems and tools
- Ability to self-direct and lean on their own prioritization methods to get their work done in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience designing, building, maintaining and implementing design systems
- Team and/or project management experience
