Senior Digital Product Designer (12 months)

The role involves leading the scoping, direction, and planning of product design for complex projects while contributing to product strategy, ensuring designs are user-centered and functionally effective based on validated insights. Additionally, the designer will drive design execution, act as an escalation point to remove blockers, and foster strong collaboration across design disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scoping, direction, and planning of product design for mid-size and increasingly complex projects and programmes
• Ensure designs are user-centred, engaging, and functionally effective, supported by validated insights and aligned with business requirements
• Drive the execution of design across initiatives, innovating within defined constraints and balancing originality with usability, brand consistency, and technical feasibility
• Act as an escalation point, remove blockers to maintain momentum and quality, and make informed design decisions within your defined authority
• Foster strong collaboration across design disciplines and other functions, engaging key stakeholders to make sure of alignment and effective delivery of projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Strong understanding of user-centred design
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital product design within complex systems
• Experience delivering product design for mid-size and increasingly complex projects and programmes
• Portfolio that demonstrates end to end design thinking from discovery through to UX exploration and UI delivery
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners
• Proven leadership skills
