The UI/UX Designer will enhance user experience for military logistics software by designing and iterating on dashboards for commanders and unit leaders. They will collaborate with military staff to create user-centered designs that improve visibility into operations.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and iterating on logistics dashboards for commanders and unit leaders
  • Using historical data and visual cues to highlight performance patterns over time
  • Applying visual design systems using color, typography, and status indicators
  • Designing for AI-augmented decision support, including predictive analytics and adaptive interface patterns
  • Creating filtering and search patterns that support different user mental models and workflows
  • Mapping user journeys and designing visualizations for deployment and readiness processes

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of UI/UX experience
  • Ability to obtain a TS Clearance
  • Portfolio showing dashboard or data-focused design work
  • Understanding of heuristics and information hierarchy
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and translate them into clear interfaces
  • Good communication skills
