Principal UX Designer – Checkout & Payments (m/w/d)

You will take full responsibility for the UX design process for payments and checkout experiences, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience. Your work will directly influence conversion rates and partner integrations.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end UX responsibility for payments and checkout experiences
- Design of user flows and UI patterns
- Improvement of conversion rates and reduction of friction points
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Translation of complex payment logic into intuitive designs
- Workshops and validation with merchants
- Definition of edge cases and error handling
- Contribution to the design system
Requirements
- Senior UX Designer or Principal Designer background
- Experience in e-commerce or payment systems
- Strong understanding of technical constraints and compliance requirements
- Ability to design user-friendly and compliant payment systems
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Miro, and Cursor
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for user-centered design
