The role involves leading discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, and business objectives, and translating ambiguous problem spaces into clearly defined problem statements and priorities. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating stakeholder workshops, communicating design intent to various audiences, and synthesizing findings into actionable artifacts like journey maps and wireframes.
Responsibilities
- Leading discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, requirements, and business objectives
- Planning and facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to drive alignment and clarity
- Translating ambiguous problem spaces into clearly defined problem statements and priorities
- Communicating design intent, requirements, and constraints effectively to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences
Requirements
- Proven experience leading discovery and requirements gathering activities
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts using tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting in and leading meetings
- Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Sketch)
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree
