Senior Product Designer - Sportsbook (Sydney)

Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery, creating intuitive and impactful experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and elevate the Sportsbook experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery to delivery creating intuitive, scalable and impactful experiences
• Refine design systems, collaborate across teams and help shape how design drives product strategy
• Hands-on, strategic and user-focused, play a key role in elevating every touchpoint of the Sportsbook experience
• Lead the full design process, from discovery and exploration to final UI delivery
• Deliver high-quality interface designs that align with product strategy and user goals
• Conduct or collaborate on user research, competitive analysis and usability testing to validate design hypotheses
• Translate insights into actionable design decisions that enhance engagement, clarity and conversion
• Continuously monitor design effectiveness through performance metrics and user feedback
• Present design work confidently, communicating rationale and impact to cross-functional stakeholders
• Support and mentor other designers, sharing insights and guiding them through design challenges
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineers and other Designers to shape roadmap priorities and define what success looks like
• Contribute to cross-team critiques, share feedback constructively and elevate the work of peers
• Embrace experimentation and innovation, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sportsbetting and interactive entertainment through interface design
• Help foster an inclusive, curious, and collaborative environment where great ideas can thrive

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design
• A robust portfolio showcasing ability to take complex problems from discovery to delivery
• Experience designing for omnichannel environments, with a particular focus on mobile applications
• A demonstrated interest in streaming, gaming and emerging technologies
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• An analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to link design thinking to business goals and product outcomes
• A passion for sports, ideally with experience or strong interest in sports, sports betting or live sports products
• A self-starter attitude, thriving in fast-paced environments and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities with ease
