Senior Product Designer (Digital) - Design System

Lead the design and implementation of design systems and tools to enhance design processes. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create effective design solutions that align with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of design systems, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the design process
• Create and maintain a set of design libraries including design tokens, components, content guides, and design patterns
• Develop and maintain design documentation, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and alignment across design teams and digital products
• Optimize and standardize design processes, including file management, version control, and collaboration
• Mentor and provide guidance to other Product Designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Conduct Comprehensive User Research to grasp user needs, behaviours, and pain points
• Create Effective Design Solutions, including wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Enhance Cross-Platform Experience by crafting cohesive, responsive design solutions
• Facilitate Usability Testing and employ A/B testing methodologies to evaluate design impact

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital product design and 4 years in Design Systems
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital design expertise in designing and optimizing design processes and workflows
• Demonstrated ability to advocate for design within the organization, influencing product strategy and aligning with business goals
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration software platforms, like Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for presenting and discussing design decisions
• Experience in Agile environments and collaborating with diverse teams
