UX Designer, CD Baby (Contract)

Create user-centered designs that simplify complex workflows and develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and design partners to refine requirements and iterate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs that simplify complex workflows
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Maintain and extend existing design patterns while improving consistency and usability
• Work directly with Product, Engineering, and other design partners to refine requirements and iterate solutions
• Participate in discovery and ideation sessions; offer design insights that influence strategic direction
• Plan and conduct lightweight usability testing to validate designs and iterate quickly

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX design experience in digital product environments
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful design of complex web user experiences
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools
• Excellent communication skills — able to articulate design rationale to diverse partners
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
