The UI Designer will create high-quality style guides, components, and patterns while maintaining and documenting design systems. They will collaborate with product teams and support other designers in using shared patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design guides, components, and patterns of high quality
- Contribute to the creation, organization, update, maintenance, and documentation of style libraries and components
- Assume the responsibility of executing specific design components or initiatives within the design system
- Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of resources, tools, documentation, and support for designers and developers
- Explain, defend, and justify design decisions to the design and development team
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in digital design and experience direct contributing and working in a Design System
- Graduated from a university with a degree in Design or a related field
- Ability to work in an agile environment, being responsible, innovative, and detail-oriented
- Experience building, designing, and contributing to the documentation of components in a Design System
- Solid understanding of interaction design, heuristic laws, Gestalt principles, usability, and accessibility
